So far, I've used the pages I received from Brian on Etsy that makes a storage place for your valuables out of books among other wonderful gadgets. Being a huge lover of old books, it is not always easy for me to dismantle a book. Using pages cut out of old books by someone else seemed like an easier way for me to start with my art projects. I have since found some old books that I 'may' be able to harvest the pages from to create art with.
The biggest challenge for me with drawing and painting on pages of text is learning to focus on the project and not the words that are peeking through. It is my hope that with more practice the process will become easier. I do love the effect of paintings on text. I've also experimented with painting on tea bags and brown paper. I'll be sharing some of those soon!

Thank you Lisa for your kind words! Glad you enjoy this piece and my other works. Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you again sometime. :)
I love what you did here. I think the text background is a wonderful contrast to the curves and lines of the face. Excellent! Thanks for sharing :-)
