What will I do with all these old books and covers? I'll probably use the insides eventually in my mixed media art projects and the covers to make art journals. But for now, I think I'll just enjoy looking at them a while longer as they are. :)
Soon, I'll be posting some artwork created on book pages so watch for that. It's a whole new adventure for me and I'm looking forward to sharing these art pieces with you all!
Oh the lovely possibilities!! :) So what do your stacks look like? Visit the Altered Page and have a gander at some other artists and creatives and their lovely stacks. I'd love it if you would share a link to YOUR stacks in your comments below!

What yummy books! They would make excellent "re-bound" books or even canvases. Thanks for visiting my blog and commenting!
Peace,

I have been collecting books from second hand and charity stores for some time. Mostly I started collecting for use in collage projects but atarted to read and scan in images, now I collect books for those old images and poetry books. Creating art work on or in those books is also something I do, has been collaged so far ( altered books) but painting seems fun.I will be having a go - thanks for the suggestion - John
